Bob Boughner's Fight Card
1. October 19th, 2005 vs.
George Parros
Los Angeles Kings - 2:38 of the 1st Period
Comments: Boughner shoves Parros in front of the
Avalanche
net and the two drop the gloves, moving out of the crease to
square
off. They come together and Parros throws a couple of weak
rights
as both fighters lose their balance and fall to the ice.
Boughner gets
back to his feet first and starts throwing lefts at the back
of Parros
head. The majority of Boughner's punches were hitting helmet.
Parros loses his balance again and falls to his knees with
Boughner
on top of him.
2. January 9th, 2006 vs. Barret Jackman
St. Louis Blues - 8:48 of the 3rd Period
Comments: Jackman hits Boughner hard from behind as
the two
come together and drop the gloves behind the play. Jackman
unleashes a flurry of four rights while Boughner is bent
over. Boughner
is sent to his knees and his helmet flies off. Boughner
stands back up
and throws two rights as Jackman gets Boughner's jersey over
his
head and connects with two rights that send Boughner to his
knees
once again. Jackman continues to throw rights as Boughner
returns to
his feet and misses with two lefts. Jackman throws two more
rights
before the two fall to the ice with Jackman on top.
3. February 7th, 2006 vs. Matt Greene
Edmonton Oilers - 19:00 of the 1st Period
Comments: Behind the play the two come together and
drop the
gloves. Boughner throws a left as Greene lands two rights
that pop
Boughner's helmet off. The two then go toe-to-toe with
punches:
Greene with rights, Boughner switching hands and going with
the
right as well. Greene gets the better of the exchange before
pushing a
bent over Boughner to the ice.
4. March 4th, 2006 vs. Jeremy Stevenson
Dallas Stars - 5:35 of the 3rd Period
Comments: Behind the play, they drop the gloves and
tie up as
Boughner throws a left to the side of Stevenson's helmet and
then puts
a left hand in his face. Stevenson gets an arm free and
throws a short
right before the two start wrestling around in tight.
Stevenson then
throws a left and a right before Boughner lands a left and
the two fall
to the ice.
5. April 3rd, 2006 vs. James Wisniewski
Chicago Blackhawks - 9:13 of the 2nd Period
Comments: None.
6. April 9th, 2006 vs. Alex Henry
Minnesota Wild - 14:28 of the 1st Period
Comments: Boughner and Henry meet up and drop the
gloves near
the benches. They grab ahold of each other fast and exchange
a couple
of quick lefts. Henry then lands a series of about three
lefts. Boughner
returns fire with lefts himself, the last one Henry attempts
to avoid, but is
leaning awkwardly, falls to the ice, and Boughner goes down
with him.
Henry's up fast and pulls Boughner up with him, but the
linesmen break it
up before they can continue.
