Adam Foote's Fight Card

1. October 14th, 1995 vs. Dallas Eakins
    St. Louis Blues - 8:45 of the 3rd Period
    Comments: There is a big scrum in front of the net and these two
    are off to the side. Foote is challenging Jay Wells and Eakins steps
    in to fight the battle instead. Eakins lands a left jab as they dive in.
    After grappling a second, they both start chucking rights that appear
    to be landing. Eakins then gets the upper-hand and starts hammering
    away at the back of Foote's head as he crouches over to avoid a
    beating. One of the linesmen then manages to break up the fight on
    his own. Other Penalties: Shayne Corson received a cross checking.

    Comments: None.

3. October 11th, 1996 vs. Adam Creighton

    Comments: Foote received a holding.

    Comments: Other Penalties: Probert received a roughing.

7. May 22nd, 1997 (Playoffs) vs. Vladimir Konstantinov
    Detroit Red Wings - 10:35 of the 3rd Period
    Comments: Other Penalties: Adam Deadmarsh and Slava Fetisov
    each received a roughing and misconduct; Foote a high sticking,
    instigator and misconduct.

8. November 14th, 1997 vs. Denis Pederson
    New Jersey Devils - 13:20 of the 3rd Period
    Comments: None.

9. December 2nd, 1997 vs. Jason Arnott
    Edmonton Oilers - 2:12 of the 3rd Period
    Comments: Other Penalties: Foote received an instigator and
    misconduct.

      Comments: Other Penalties: Both players received a
      misconduct.

13. October 24th, 1998 vs. Bill Guerin
      Edmonton Oilers - 00:36 of the 1st Period
      Comments: None.

14. March 18th, 1999 vs. Gary Roberts
      Carolina Hurricanes - 4:11 of the 3rd Period
      Comments: None.

15. May 12th, 2001 (Playoffs) vs. Scott Mellanby
      St. Louis Blues - 15:09 of the 3rd Period
      Comments: None.

16. January 11th, 2003 vs. Philippe Boucher
      Dallas Stars - 20:00 of the 1st Period
      Comments: Foote controlled the fight landing an uppercut and
      possibly landing a few more rights to Boucher's head. After
      about 5-6 total rights thrown in the fight all by Foote, they both
      go down to the ice.

17. January 20th, 2003 vs. Derian Hatcher
      Dallas Stars - 3:10 of the 3rd Period
      Comments: Hatcher takes a run at Forsberg and just barely
      misses crushing him, but still gets a good piece. Play continues
      for a few seconds more and when the whistle blows, Foote
      challenges and away we go. Unfortunately, Foote falls down
      quickly and takes four big rights to the back of the head. He
      gets back up and the two big D-men tie themselves up and the
      linesmen are in.

18. March 16th, 2003 vs. Brian Sutherby
      Washington Capitals - 13:20 of the 2nd Period
      Comments: Foote landed two or three good rights at first and
      Sutherby answered with two rights of his own. Sutherby then
      gets Foote's helmet off and they get tangled up. Finally Sutherby
      gets free and lands three more good rights.

19. March 25th, 2003 vs. Mike Fisher
      Ottawa Senators - 2:47 of the 1st Period
      Comments: Camera got there late, as they were bent over the
      boards, hugging. They came off and Fisher throws a left that
      seemed to land and so did Foote. Foote through another left
      which seemed to land and then pinned Fisher up against the
      bench. A lot of swaying and trying to get position, not many
      fists thrown. They hug some more and the linesmen come in.

20. October 23rd, 2003 vs. Jason Chimera
      Edmonton Oilers - 8:08 of the 1st Period
      Comments: Foote and Chimera drop em in the Avs zone with
      Chimera busy early with rights and Foote on the defensive.
      Foote then throws a couple with the last possibly landing flush
      to put Chimera down. Foote had a good night, with a Gordie
      Howe hat trick.
