Washington Capitals 13:02 of the 3rd Period

Comments: This was in the Stanley Cup Finals, game 6.
Other Penalties: Sutton received a roughing minor.

5. October 11th, 2001 vs. Steve Staios
Edmonton Oilers - 19:37 of the 3rd Period
Comments: They tie each other up and Hinote throws a few
that miss while Staios missed one as well. After wrestling a little
more Staois gets free and throws five straight punches down on
Hinote. Refs come in immediately, probably to help Hinote.

6. October 31st, 2001 vs. Tyson Nash
St. Louis Blues - 3:21 of the 3rd Period
Comments: Sean Hill and Ville Nieminen both received
    roughings.

7. February 4th, 2002 vs. Sean Avery
Detroit Red Wings - 17:21 of the 2nd Period
Comments: During a scrum in front of Hasek, away from the pile
the 2 pests start yapping. A little glove wigglin and there they go! It's
a far-away camera view to start, but Avery appears to land
1, 2, 3, 4...make that 5 straight rights on Hinote. Hard to tell exactly
where they landed. Dan wants to take part in this scrap so he tosses a
right of his own, but misses. Sean misses with a right, then grazes
Hinote with another. Avery feels Hinote's helmet isn't needed, so he
rips it off. Each miss a few more, then do a little tuggin and pullin.
Each trying to get free, Dan lands to the back of Sean's helmet while
Sean misses a right. They both now get an arm free and are looking to
drop a few bombs. Both chuck big ones and land. They're not
done...wham! Again each land a big one with Hinote's shots looking
to be the harder of the two. Dan misses a right, Avery lands to the
back of the head, then another, followed by a short Hinote right.
The linesman come in with both men giving a little nod to each other.
Nice scrap. Other Penalties: Jesse Wallin received an interference.

8. April 22nd, 2002 (Playoffs) vs. Kelly Buchberger
Los Angeles Kings - 20:00 of the 3rd Period
Comments: As the final buzzer sounds, all the players come together
along the boards. Buchy and Hinote drop 'em. Kelly appears to land
with 2 short helmet shots, then gets the takedown. While down, he
throws one before the linesmen are able to get there.
Other Penalties: Andreas Lilja received a roughing.

9. January 1st, 2003 vs. Scott Hartnell
Nashville Predators - 18:29 of the 2nd Period
Comments: Preds are down 6-2 and Hartrnell decides to try and
spark the team. He and Hinote come together at center ice and talk
and Hartnell skates away. They come together again a few seconds
later and drop the gloves. Lots of grappling in this one. Both had their
arms tied up in their jerseys. Hartnell gets his out first and lands a couple
of rights to the top of Hinote's head. Hinote comes back with a noogie
shot, then they wrestle for a few more seconds. Then they both fall to
    the ice.

10. January 1st, 2003 vs. Scott Hartnell
Nashville Predators - 17:11 of the 3rd Period
Comments: Hartnell hits Muir and they talk all the way to the benches.
Muir skates away and Hinote asks Hartnell if he wants to go again and
Hartnell obliges. When they drop the gloves the linesman try to hold
them apart. He forced them over to the Preds bench, finally the
linesman got out of the way. Hartnell and Hinote both throw a couple
of quick rights, then they tie each other up and lean over the benches.
      Then the linesmen come in.

11. March 29th, 2003 vs. Brad Ference
Phoenix Coyotes - 00:52 of the 2nd Period
Comments: Ference is getting a minor for some roughing in front of
the net. Brad starts it out and gets in some weak shots to Hinote's
face, just little jabs. Then Hinote comes back at the end landing some
to the side of Brad's helmet before they fall.
Other Penalties: Brad Ference received a roughing.

12. October 23rd, 2003 vs. Ethan Moreau
Edmonton Oilers - 11:41 of the 2nd Period
Comments: It starts with a huge double team hit by Hinote and
McCormick on Cross. Cross gets up and slashes Hinote, then Hinote
challenges him and Cross backs down. Moreau comes in with the
gloves off, right cocked back and starts throwing a bit. Moreau throws
three or four punches, and they fall down with Hinote on top. Right after
Moreau jumps in, McCormick does the same to Cross. They fall almost
immediately, maybe each threw a couple. They both get booted for
being the second fight. Other Penalties: Moreau received an
      instigating and game misconduct.

13. November 2nd, 2003 vs. Dan LaCouture
New York Rangers - 5:40 of the 2nd Period
Comments: Right off the face-off circle Hinote drops the gloves and
goes after Lacoutore. Lacoutore, who is skating backwards, drops the
gloves and away they go. Hinote gets off two rights at the start. Three
lefts by Lacoutore and Hinote is in trouble. The third left lands flush
and knocks Hinote's helmet off. Lacoutore now has the jersey partially
over Hinote's head and is still throwing hard lefts. Hinote, to his credit,
is throwing his own lefts, but they appear to be missing or just grazing
Lacoutore. Lacoutore lands on top of Hinote and the linesmen come in.

14. December 20th, 2003 vs. Sean Avery
Los Angeles Kings - 00:24 of the 1st Period
Comments: Avery had a good hold of Hinote, threw about three
punches, none really landed. The third right glanced off Hinote and
he proceeded to pull Avery to the ice with him

15. March 7th, 2004 vs. Chris Clark
Calgary Flames - 6:28 of the 3rd Period
Comments: They go right after the face-off after the Oliwa goal.
Not much landed in a what was pretty much a hugfest. Hinote
went in for the takedown and Clark actually landed on top.

16. March 12th, 2004 vs. Brad Ference
Phoenix Coyotes - 10:25 of the 2nd Period
Comments: Fight starts in front of the the Yotes' bench. The fight
was retaliation for a run Ference had taken at Konawalchuk. Hinote
tries to start things off with two rights but they both come up short.
They start to grapple and skate behind the Yotes' net. Ference tries
a weak right that hits the back of Hinote's helmet. They then throw
simultaneous rights both landing to the face. Hinote throws another
quick right that comes up short. They grapple some and Hinote tries
a right but hits Ference's helmet and somehow hurts himself with that
throw. They start to grapple some more and Hinote falls to a knee in
pain and the linesmen come in while Hinote is on his knees.

17. December 4th, 2005 vs. Adam Mair
Buffalo Sabres - 6:07 of the 1st Period
Comments: Mair nails Hinote with a big hit along the boards. Hinote
goes after him and they drop the gloves. They grab on with Mair
throwing three lefts and Hinote coming back with a right. They then
begin exchanging punches, Mair with lefts, Hinote with rights. Mair
throws a right as Hinote loses his balance and goes down to a knee.
Hinote gets back up and they wrestle around for a bit until the linesmen
come in. Mair throws a left while the linesmen are in between them.
Other Penalties: Mair received a roughing.

18. January 28th, 2006 vs. Kevin Bieksa
Vancouver Canucks - 00:04 of the 3rd Period
Comments: Right off of the faceoff, Hinote darts after Bieska, almost
losing his balance. Hinote skates right up to Bieska at a faster than
normal speed and Bieska tags him with a left. They spin around at
arms-length as Bieska throws a jersey-jab while Hinote comes back
with a long right that misses. The two then go back and forth with long
rights that miss the target. Hinote throws two rights before the two go
back and forth with rights once again. Bieska misses over the top with
a right as both players continue to exchange wild rights that come up
short for the most part. Bieska then connects with three quick rights
and Hinote throws a right in response. They exchange right hands
before they tie up and Bieska rips Hinote's helmet off just before the
      linesmen come in.

19. March 4th, 2006 vs. Steve Ott
Dallas Stars - 5:35 of the 3rd Period
Comments: Ott hits Kurt Sauer hard along the boards as Hinote
immediately goes after him. They tie up and Hinote loses his balance
and goes down to a knee. Ott throws a short right and the two fall to
the ice. They wrestle around on the ice as the referee tries to separate
them. Ott shakes off his elbow pad and cocks back his right arm
before the two are finally sent to the penalty box.
Other Penalties: Ott received a charging.

20. March 20th, 2006 vs. Sean Avery
Los Angeles Kings - 1:30 of the 1st Period
      Comments: None.
